I'm a 3x Emmy Award-winning former television journalist who has spent my career uncovering stories and making complex topics easy to understand. Today, I bring that same storytelling mindset to public relations, content strategy, and executive visibility through my boutique PR agency based in Syracuse, New York. While I'm based on the East Coast, I work with clients across the country.
My journey from the newsroom to public relations taught me one important lesson: every organization, leader, and brand has a story worth telling. The challenge is finding the right story and sharing it in a way that captures attention.
My clients have been featured on The Today Show, Good Morning America, Forbes, BuzzFeed, The Washington Post, Martha Stewart, Homes & Gardens, Real Simple, top podcasts, and dozens of television stations nationwide.
Before launching Dana Dean PR, I worked as a television reporter and host of Show Me St. Louis on KSDK, the NBC affiliate in St. Louis. I later served as Vice President of Public Relations for a biotech company.
Those experiences gave me a unique perspective on the full spectrum of storytelling, from pitching stories to helping organizations define and tell their own.

I help brands, organizations, and leaders earn attention, build credibility, and tell stories that resonate. Whether through media coverage, thought leadership, content strategy, or executive visibility, every service is designed to help clients stand out and get noticed.
As a former journalist, I learned how to quickly master complex subjects, uncover compelling stories, and communicate them clearly. Today, I bring that same storytelling and media relations expertise to clients across industries, helping them earn attention, build credibility, and stand out in a crowded marketplace.
Stories reporters want to tell,
not press releases they ignore.
Helping brands say what they do
and why it matters.
Helping leaders turn expertise into authority and visibility.
